CESA 8
The local school district plays an important role in the quality of a child's life. That's where CESA 8 makes a difference. CESA 8 is a cooperative educational service agency which provides programs, services, and resources to 27 school districts in Northeastern Wisconsin. CESA 8 is committed to helping school districts meet the educational needs of the 20,000 students in Northeast Wisconsin. In 1965, the Wisconsin Legislature created Cooperative Educational Service Agencies to replace the office of County Superintendent of Schools; today, there are twelve such agencies in the state of Wisconsin. CESAs are non-profit service organizations monitored by the state, created to provide better education through cooperation. CESA 8 has provided services and programs to its districts for over a quarter of a century.
