Junior Achievement of the Wolf River Area

122 North Sawyer St.

Junior Achievement’s purpose is to inspire and prepare young people for economic success. We do this by helping students (kindergarten through 12th Grade) in local schools learn about career readiness – so they can excel in the local workforce, financial literacy – so they can be smart with the money they earn, and entrepreneurship – so they can innovate and create new jobs to boost the local economy. When you donate money or time to Junior Achievement, you’ll know you’re making a difference by partnering with an organization that’s been achieving proven results for 100 years. In fact, during the 2018-19 school year, we were able to work with 144 volunteers to provide over 12,600 hours of mentor-ship to more than 2,500 students in the Wolf River Area. Your involvement makes children's lives better. Not just for a few minutes, or a day, or even a few weeks. You’ll help students find permanent change. You'll set them on a path into a joyful, productive new life that every child wants and deserves. You’ll improve our whole community one classroom at a time.

Opportunity to Volunteer

Why should you become a Junior Achievement Volunteer? 1) Teach kids how the classroom ties into the real world. It’s an opportunity to connect with the young people (and future workers) in your area by sharing your ideas and knowledge. 2) It’s easy and fun! No teaching experience necessary. We provide complete lesson plans that are easy to follow. 3) Offers flexible classroom times. Work with teachers to coordinate your schedules. Fulfill company volunteer benefit hours and accreditation hours. 4) Make a lasting impression and big impact on our youth and their future! Fall & Spring opportunities available!
