Our Mission Statement: To educate people of all ages on the importance of conserving natural resources and wildlife habitat, promoting renewable energy, and developing a healthy lifestyle by engaging in wellness opportunities. Volunteer opportunities: Volunteer Naturalists assisting staff with school and summer camp programming. Event help and support from assisting with crafts, food, driving tractor or wagon tour guide. Trail and grounds support helping to mow and keep trails maintained, also garden support with weeding, chipping and planting flowers. Office support in helping to put newsletters and mailings together. Fundraising opportunities on the banquet committee and other events such as the trail run, glow golf outing and more. Signature events include: Frozen Fun Open house, Sporting Clay Shoot, Spring Trail Run / Walk, Earth Day Open House, Summer Camps and Day Camps, Banquet, Fall Family Fun Day Open House, Halloween Happenings, Artfest, Christmas Tree Sale, many workshops and programs throughout the year.

Volunteer Naturalist (Working with School Groups) Working with the Naturalist teaching students about our natural environment, wildlife and habitats. — Nursing Homes — Special Needs Groups — Early Childhood — Senior Citizens Office Support -- Help staff with the creation of NNC brochures, newsletters, media contacts, and displays. Special Events -- Volunteer to help with special event such as our Fun Run, Open Houses, and other seasonal events.
