Red River Riders Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Inc.

Red River Riders is a non-profit organization providing physical and emotional benefits to disabled people through horseback riding. We also have a Survivor's class for adults who have experienced a life changing illness or event. We have three six-week sessions - spring, summer, & fall. Classes are Tuesday & Wednesday at 4:00 & 5:15p.m., and Thursday at 5:00 & 6:15p.m. Volunteers who want to help groom & saddle horses should arrive 30 minutes before the first class of the day.

Opportunity to Volunteer

Volunteers are needed as horse leaders (for those with horse experience) and side walkers (support & encouragement for our riders). Ages 13 to seniors. No horse experience needed. Classes are one hour long featuring walking, and assisting riders during exercises, and games. Very little running, but others will fill in if you cannot run.
