The Shawano Area Food Center is a volunteer run organization with a mission to feed Shawano County's hungry through a countywide network of participating food pantries. Shawano Area Food Center is a registered drop site for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, a member of Hunger Relief Federation bringing Badger Boxes and Stock Box programs to the area, serves as a warehouse and storage facility for these pantries, and in addition, procures emergency food and surplus to be distributed to Shawano County food agencies and pantries. The warehouse is located at 830 E Center Street, Shawano Wisconsin. Hours of operation are Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00am-10:00am. We have volunteer opportunities available at the warehouse- helping to unload and sort food deliveries.
